Our Mission
Hoosiers for Higher Education (HHE) engages Indiana University alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to impact legislative decision making about the importance of higher education for Indiana's future.

Our Members
Members are alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends of Indiana University. Anyone who cares about higher education in Indiana is a welcome addition to our organization. Members do not pay dues, but they may recruit members, attend forums, and communicate with elected officials.

HHE is organized in cooperation with the IU Alumni Association and the Office of the Vice President of Public Affairs and Government Relations. 

Our Leaders
A dedicated team of Community Captains lead recruiting efforts in regional locations, spread the word about forums and meetings, and talk with their elected officials. A Statewide Steering Committee is composed of prominent Hoosiers who understand the connection between higher education and the economy and represent HHE in their region.

Our Strategy
HHE will continue to increase public awareness about the importance of higher education and work to ensure that it is a top priority for the Indiana General Assembly and other elected officials. This will be done through recruitment, education, and mobilization of our members.
