Why I am an HHE member: HHE is a terrific avenue for alumni to stay engaged with legislators and advocate for Indiana University to ensure higher education remains a top priority in our state. I want to be a part of progressive, positive change in higher education, and HHE provides opportunities to make an impact at the state level where critical decisions that impact IU are made.
What is most rewarding as an HHE member: Championing the key messages outlined by HHE and being a part of keeping IU a premiere destination for education is rewarding each session.
Why it’s important for alumni to actively advocate for IU: As alumni we have a responsibility to share the great experiences we had at Indiana University with others. Part of that responsibility is making sure our legislators keep IU and higher education a top priority for our state and drive economic development efforts further through our university system.
