Why I am an HHE member: Sue Talbot, one of the most amazing women on the planet, asked me and I was honored. I also realized that there is power in numbers and IU needed to have a voice in the legislature in order to accomplish the goals set forth by the university's administration.
What is most rewarding as an HHE member: Knowing that we can make a difference in the life of the university and the State of Indiana with reference to higher education. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to unite with other alumni from all over Indiana—Connecting Alumni, Serving IU!
Why it’s important for alumni to actively advocate for IU: IU is our university, IU is our responsibility—advocating for IU ensures that future generations will benefit from the same great university we had the privilege of attending. Our administration is striving to make IU not just great (we already are), but the greatest!
