Why I am an HHE member: I am always willing to do whatever I can to help my alma mater!
What is most rewarding as an HHE member: I enjoy the opportunity to interact with our elected officials and with IU decision-makers. When I see the projects for which I have been advocating come to fruition, I feel as if I’ve somehow made a difference.
Why it’s important for alumni to actively advocate for IU: It’s one thing for legislators to hear from professional lobbyists and paid staffers. It’s quite another when they hear from people who are demonstrating their support purely out of their love for IU!
